Huawei joins ‘Clean Delhi’ initiative as part of CSR

Huawei Technologies announced joining the ‘Clean Delhi’ Drive undertaken by the Delhi government and Art of Living between September 06 to 12th, 2010.

Over 100 employees of the company took responsibility to clean up multiple locations across the city and worked with volunteers to raise awareness about Delhi’s cleanliness.

According to Max Yang, CEO, Huawei India, "Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of work culture at Huawei and tightly aligned with our strategic business priorities. As a world leader in telecommunications and networking equipment, we understand that our operations are closely linked with the social-economic environment of the communities where we operate. We are committed to working closely with and supporting local communities and the Clean Delhi Drive is one such example of it."
