Micromax, on Friday launched the budget level Canvas Tab P480 voice calling tablet in the Indian market for Rs. 6,999. It is a dual-SIM device and has 3G connectivity.
Micromax Canvas Tab P480 is the successor of the P480 tablet launched last year. The new tablet comes with improved performance, handy features and pre-installed apps. It features a 7 inch IPS touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It is powered with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. The device currently runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is upgradable to the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 with the over the air update.
Canvas Tab P480 tab sports a 5 megapixels Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixels front camera for video calling. It comes with 8GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card space. The device is power backed by a 3000 mAh battery and ensures daylong of its working.
There is no announcement of its launch date, however, it is expected to be available in next few days. The device will be available in dark blue and white colour options.
