Lenovo launches S850 quad-core powered smartphone for Rs 15499

Lenovo, on Wednesday announced the launch of the S850 in its popular S series smartphones for Rs. 15,499. Lenovo S850 is a perfect choice for the trendy and socially connected people. The phone is equipped with an illuminating logo at the back panel, which glows every time you receive a notification.
 
Lenovo S850 is also equipped with a large 5 inch HD display with ultra-wide viewing 178 angles and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It sports an high resolution 13 megapixels rear camera with SNAPit Camera function and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is powered with MediaTek’s 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS that offers fast, smooth and responsive experience while gaming and multi-tasking.

The S850 supports dual-SIM with dual standby functionality. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage and has a 2000 mAh battery. The Lenovo S850 is a sheer delight to use with new features like the speakers efficiently placed on both the sides for an enhanced acoustic experience and, the gesture and motion-based enhancements added to the user interface offer better one-hand usage. With a thickness of just 8.2mm and weighing 140g, the Lenovo S850 is backed by a remarkably slim and lightweight frame for ultra-portability.
 
The smartphone is loaded with the Lenovo Premium DOit Apps “SECUREit” which is a security software that helps you track, analyse and optimise your data usage. Lenovo has also added its award winning “SHAREit” App that can provides the fastest phone-to-phone data transfer without the need for Wifi or mobile network. You can also send across pictures, large videos, folders, and even share free apps in a matter of minutes. “SYNCit” is another innovative platform that LenovoS850 offers you to have a permanent backup of all your data and makes it accessible to you on any device.
 
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,499 and includes a unique snap stand case that provides a stand mode for table top usage. The phone will be available across 2000+ retail outlets and leading retail chains in India by the end of this month. However, the Lenovo authorized online site, thedostore.com is accepting pre-orders starting today.
