Dell launches Venue 7 and Venue 8 Android tablets in India with voice calling feature

Dell India, on Monday announced its latest Android tablets – the Dell Venue 7 & Dell Venue 8 tablets in India for Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 18,999 each. They come equipped with voice calling feature as well as 3G. Enabling users to access their personal information, and to stay connected on-the-go all day long, the new voice enabled Venue Android tablets is a complete solution to users looking for a complete, yet compact technology companion.

To reiterate its focus on the tablet segment in the Indian market, Dell is augmenting its robust retail network with the addition of the mobile specialty retail (MSR) network for tablet sales, in order to maximize consumers’ access to the new product. This addition to its channel, enables Dell to cater a wider audience, whether they approach tablets from a PC perspective, or a mobile perspective.
 
The new Dell Venue Android tablets deliver a solid performance in a sleek design with incredible features including all day long productivity with a 4550 mAh battery and the latest Intel Processor, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, HD display and premium audio. Dell is offering a complete portfolio of accessories, software and services recommended specifically for your Dell Venue Android tablets.

Dell Venue 8 accessories have been developed to keep users productive throughout the day. This includes the Dell Bluetooth Folio Keyboard and Dell Venue Cradle for focused computing on a compact device. The Dell Venue Cradle uses inductive charging to wirelessly charge the Dell Venue 8 allowing users to simply place the tablet on the cradle and continue to use it, while it charges.
 
The Dell Venue ecosystem includes software, accessories and services, the goal of which is to simplify the tablet experience, allowing users to interact with their go-to mobile devices in the way that is most natural, convenient and productive to them.
 
This includes Accidental Damage Service which is offered on all Dell Venue tablets and protects users’ devices against liquid spills, drops, power surges and screen cracks. This service includes repair and if required, whole unit replacement.
 
The new Dell Venue Android OS tablets also come with the option of accessorizing the tablet experience with a range of recommended accessories such as the Dell Duo tablet cases to protect the device whilst making a statement with an array of colours and the Dell Bluetooth portable speakers to stay connected to one’s device, on the go. Users also have the option of owning a Dell Venue Cradle or a Dell Venue Rotating Folio for the Venue 8 tablet.
 
Dell Venue’s Android OS includes access to all of the latest Android apps and an easy device set up experience. You can also access your files and data anywhere with PocketCloud and 20GB of free Dropbox storage for one year. The new tablets come equipped with a number of apps including those for note taking, cloud printing, document retrieval etc.
