Sony has added two more devices - Xperia M and Xperia M dual -to its Xperia series of smartphones.  Though the company has not revealed the price of these devices,  they are likely to be in the same price range as recently  launched Xperia L which is priced at Rs 18990 in India.

Except that Xperia M dual is a dual-SIM smartphone, both the devices have the similar technical specifications.

As far as te operating system is concerned, Sony Xperia M will on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) while the Xperia M dual is expected to come with Android 4.2. Sony Xperia M and Xperia M dual sport a 4.0-inch TFT display of FWVGA resolution. They are powered by by 1GHz dual-core processor along with Adreno 305 graphics. They come with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage of which 2.8GB is user-accessible, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Both the smartphones sport  a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and a 0.3-megapixel front snapper and come with  a 1,750mAh battery. For connectivity they have Wi-Fi, 3G with HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC options.

The Sony Xperia M will be available in four colour options - Black, White, Purple and Lime. While Xperia M dual will be available in Black, White and Purple colours.

Sony recently said that it is committed to the premium smartphone and tablet segments.
