  After launching the low-budget Samsung Galaxy Star last month, the South Korean handset giant has now come out with another entry-level smartphone Galaxy Pocket Neo. The device is available on e-commerce portal Infibeam at Rs 7,130.
These two low-cost smartphones is clearly an indication that the Samsung is trying to push cheap Indian brands like Micromax, Lava and Karbonn out of the competition.
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo runs on Android JellyBean 4.1 OS and is powered by850MHz processor. It has a 3 inch QVGA TFT LCD screen with a 2MP camera that can capture photos and do video recording @ 15 fps. It come with 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options.
The device has 512 MB RAM with 4GB internal memory which can be expanded by to 32 GB with microSD card. It is a dual-SIM phone which can work on GSM+GSM technologies.
Other features include FM Radio with FM Recording, accessing Google Mobile Services, Google Playstation, Google Plus, YouTube, Google Talk, ChatOn and such other apps.
Last month Samsung launched entry level GALAXY Star for the Indian market, which is available online at Rs 4,990.
Samsung is offering the device with a free data offer from Vodafone – 250 MB per month for 2 months .The offer is applicable on Vodafone 2G on purchase of Samsung Star till July 31 , 2013 .
The dual SIM Samsung Galaxy Star runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system and powered by A5 1GHz processor. It comes with With 3” capacitive touch screen, the device comes loaded with a 2MP camera. For connectivity it offers Bluetooth 4.0 technology for on-the-go Internet and effortless sharing. It has 512 MB RAM & 4GB internal memory expandable upto 32GB. The GALAXY Star comes pre-loaded with ChatOn, Samsung’s unique cross-platform communication service
