Karbonn has added one more smartphone to its S series by launching 5-inch S2 Titanium. Before this the company had launched S1 which was a great hit in the Indian market. The S2 Titanium is likely to heat up the smartphone race in India. The launch of the device is scheduled for May 14.
The S2 Titanium will also be a test for quad-core phones success as recently Micromax Canvas HD A116 with MediaTek’s quad-core process was an instant hit. In March Lava Mobiles had launched Zolo, its first quad-core Android phone, Xolo Q800. S2 Titanium will give a direct completion to these devices.
E-commerce portal infibeam.com has opened pre-booking for S2 Titanium which would be available for Rs. 10,790.
The phone with Quad Core processor runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS platform being seconded by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor for better overall speed.
It comes with a screen size of 5 inches that gives the user good FWVGA display resolution. It comes fitted with an 8MP camera on the back side of the phone a 2MP front camera.
This Smartphone is enabled with EDGE, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity with Bluetooth and USB options. Memory is expandable up to 32GB and it is powered by a 2100mAh battery that gives you longer talk time and standby time.
