Samsung Gear S smartwatch is now up for sale on Amazon India for Rs 27900

The Samsung Gear S smartwatch is now listed on the Amazon India online store for Rs. 27,900. The device is going for a lower price than the initially announced amount not just on Amazon India, but also on the company’s official online store. It was introduced in India for Rs. 28,900.
 
It is available in White and Black color options. The Gear S is embedded with a 2 inch S-AMOLED Curved display with 360 x 480 pixels resolution. Its facade is IP67-certified to withstand water and dust to a certain extent and it is power backed by a 300 mAh Li-ion battery that lasts for 2 days of average usage.
 
It is powered with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. It has fitness trackers too and includes a heart rate sensor and SHealth support. For  connectivity it includes - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS/Glonass.
 
The Samsung Gear S which is based on the Tizen OS and it can function as a smartphone too. It has a SIM card slot for allowing users to make or receive calls over 3G or 2G networks even when it’s not connected to a handset. It has 4 GB of internal storage.
