Tata DOCOMO launches unlimited 3G data plan for prepay customers

Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited has announced the launch of its new 3G product - ‘RCV 250’.

The new plan promises to break the clutter of cost variants and will give access to unlimited 3G data usage for 30 days and free talk time worth Rs. 250 with lifetime validity to its prepay customers.

 Tata DOCOMO had earlier announced unlimited monthly pack at Rs. 666 for it’s prepay customers and unlimited 899 monthly plan for postpay customers. These unlimited voice plans on prepay and postpay received an overwhelming response across the country.

 Announcing the launch of this new service, A P Sriram, Chief Operating Officer, Karnataka Circle, Tata DOCOMO said, “We were the first operator to launch 3G services in the country and believe that it will be a key market differentiator in times to come. Keeping that in mind we are happy to launch this affordable and innovative product that will allow our customers to experience 3G services like never before. With the launch of this plan we have completed the value chain of unlimited offers in voice and data services”.

 Tata DOCOMO’s 3G services deliver richer experience at blazing speeds. Tata DOCOMO has been leveraging the full potential of 3G in India combining the technological supremacy of NTT DOCOMO, who are considered to be leaders in 3G.

I tried this, no 3g network is detected by my modem which works fine with airtel and idea 3g. Also only 1st 1 GB is 3g rest will be on 2g speed. Third those 250 rs. are for 1 year 1 month not lifetime. Fourth no support for laptop customer rep say plainly says that. Fifth after two calls the helpline will start dropping your calls even though you are charged.

Oh..is it? but this person Mr. A.P. Sriram, Chief Operating Officer, has a different story to tell. What Mr. Sriram, see what this user is telling. So, u people are cheating it in this way. Only 1 GB is 3G and the rest is 2G means what is the use. U people (Tata) shouldn't cheat like that.

Out of all the Telecom Operators in this country, Tata sucks the worst. They may have been the first to launch 3G in Karnataka (this statement is not verified) but its consistency and service delivery that matters and Tata Docomo and customer service are two diametrically opposed notions. I have had the same experience as Ashish. All marketing-pull-the-cover-over-the-customers-eyes bs to me to be honest.

All you people I will like you to inform you about this plan is best among all network company because Rs. 250 plan give you full talk time of Rs.250 ,1 GB 3g data and also post 2G unlimited data with double speed of 2G With APN setting of TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHVC. So tell me which company is giving this kind of plan?
