Lava International on Monday has launched the Dual SIM Iris X5 smartphone in India, priced for Rs. 8,799. It is the successor of Lava Iris X1. The Iris X5 smartphone is for selfie-lovers with 5MP front camera. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in which offers a free 16GB memory card for Rs 8,649.

Lava Iris X5 Dual SIM  smartphone comes with 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS Full Lamination LCM display. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.

Lava Iris X5 Dual SIM  smartphone also has 8MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP BSI+ auto focus front camera with LED flash for low-light selfies and a wide-viewing angle shot which allows users to capture pictures up to 84degree. Its inbuilt storage is 8GB which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card.

For connectivity options smartphone has 3G connectivity, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB OTG. It has a dual microphone for active noise cancellation with 2100 mAh battery.

Lava Iris X5 Dual SIM smartphone also come up with an intelligent flip cover powered by hall sensor that puts the phone automatically in sleep mode for reduced battery consumption.

Lava Iris X5 Dual SIM smartphone will be available in White and Grey-Black colour variants.
