Micromax launches Canvas Spark smartphone with Android Lollipop OS for Rs 4999

Micromax, on Tuesday launched the Canvas Spark Q380 smartphone in India for Rs. 4,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available through Snapdeal and the registration for the first flash sale will begin from April 29 at 12 noon.

Micromax Canvas Spark is a dual-SIM smartphone and features a 4.7 inch qHD IPS display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution and for screen protection it comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. The device weighs 134 gm and is 8.5 mm thick.
 
Canvas Spark comes with 8GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. For connectivity, canvas spark includes – 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is power backed by a 2000 mAh battery and is rated to deliver up to 335 hours of standby time. The smartphone comes in White-Gold and Grey-Silver colour options.
 
Micromax has also tied up with Vodafone to provide a bundled data launch day offer of 500MB free 3G data per month for two months. The smartphone also features support for 21 languages with the Reverie language pack.
