Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launched in India with Snapdragon 625 SoC with starting price of Rs 9999

Xiaomi India, on Thursday launched the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India. Redmi Note 4 will be available to users in three variants - the 2GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage model has been priced at Rs. 9999, the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model has been priced at Rs. 10,999, and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model has been priced at Rs. 12,999.

It will be exclusively available in India on Flipkart and Xiaomi online store, Mi.com. All three variants will be available starting Monday, i.e. January 23 and there are no pre-registrations required for the sale. The smartphone would be made available in Gold, Grey, Silver and Matte Black colour variants.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a dual-SIM smartphone with metal unibody design and has a strong built. It sports a 5.5 inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with pixel density of 401ppi. The device is powered by the 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM options. It runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Redmi Note 4 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. For selfies it sports a 5 megapixel front camera with CMOS sensor. It comes with 32GB and 64GB variant that is further expandable up to 128GB using microSD cards. For connectivity Redmi Note 4 includes - 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and Infrared. It also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, and proximity sensor.

The device is power backed by a 4100 mAh battery. Long battery life is one of the good reason for the sale of Xiaomi smartphones in India. The device measures 151x76x8.35 mm and weighs 175 grams.
