Bharti Airtel’s Sri Lanka subsidiary, Bharti Airtel Lanka Pvt Ltd may finally roll out its operations on January 12. The company had originally planned the launch for December last year.

Airtel Lanka’s launch plan, to an extent, was delayed because of issues of interconnection agreements with Sri Lanka’s incumbent operators. The two sides reached to an agreement late last year.
