Idea’s brand campaign bags awards

Idea Cellular, India’s leading mobile operator has won awards for its brand campaign at the Effies.

 

Idea bagged the Effies Gold and Silver 2011 for the‘No Idea-Get Idea’ and ‘Break the language Barrier’brand campaigns respectively..

 

The company says it took the lead in making consumers aware about MNP through a series of, ‘No Idea Get Idea’ ads highlighting its pan-India network offering seamless connectivity across the length and breadth of the country; affordable and relevant products and service offerings; accessible and humane customer care where one doesn’t need to wait for long to talk to an agent; accurate billing systems; voice clarity and no call drops.

 

“Idea has emerged as one of the most loved brands in India and the awards testify the fact that we are a globally recognized brand which has managed to strike that much needed connect with our customers, through our superior brand communication,” said Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular.

 

Both these campaigns also won the industry revered ‘Best Brand Campaign of the year’ at the World Communication Awards 2011, held in London last month. Idea is the only Indian company to have won at the Annual Awards ceremony, which witnessed participation from the world’s biggest communications providers.

 

The two award winning brand campaigns of Idea were created by Lowe. Idea Cellular also won the ‘Advertiser of the Year’ title at the grand exchange4media’s Golden Mikes Radio Advertising Awards 2011.
