TT Correspondent |  |  10 Jan 2012

Mobile Streams, the global mobile content retailer, has said on Tuesday that its mobile internet subscription base in Argentina has reached the one million mark for active mobile subscribers.

Active subscribers are defined as customers who have paid to use one of the Company''s mobile internet services in the past two month period.

Mobile Streams has a longstanding and prominent foothold in the mobile internet market in Latin America and has been committed from the start to providing content and services that appeal to local mobile users.

“Our strategy of combining local knowledge and existing operator relationships in Argentina has paid off as our services continue to attract large numbers of new subscribers.  We are excited to see how this growth will continue in 2012 in Argentina as well as other markets in the Latin America region”, said Pedro Rosillo, President of Latin America at Mobile Streams.
