BSNL IPTV services soon in AP

BSNL subscribers in Viajayawada will be offered IPTV and Video-on-Demand services by March.

 

BSNL Chief General Manager Telecom (A.P. Circle) S. Ramalingam disclosed that IPTV will be launched in Hyderabad by mid-November and extended progressively to other cities. VoD services will be provided by entering into a tieup with a content provider, who will make available video clippings of films and other knowledge content from a library on the basis of subscriber’s demand.

 

The CGM was speaking on the occasion of commissioning of 50,000 line-WLL BSC at Autonagar telephone exchange.
