 Bharti Airtel as part of title sponsor for the upcoming India-Australia cricket series unveiled the trophy in a special ceremony held in Chandigarh today. Captains of the Indian and Australian teams, M.S.Dhoni and Ricky Ponting, alongwith Shashi Arora - CEO (Upper North), Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel unveiled the trophy designed by Frazer and Haws in silver with 24 karat gold plating.
Bharti Airtel has been awarded the series sponsorship rights by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) for all international cricket matches to be played in India till 2013. The first test match scheduled from 1st October – 5th October 2010 in Mohali. |
