Flytxt Board Approves Significant Expansion

VAS player, Flytxt announced that its board has approved plans to further expand the company. This decision was taken at the Flytxt Board Meeting held in Cape Town, South Africa last week.

 

Speaking on the occasion, David Harper, Chairman of Flytxt said, “The market demand for mobile marketing and advertising is accelerating significantly and we are going to scale rapidly to meet this demand with a specific focus on India and Africa where the growth is most dramatic."

 

“We are increasing people and resources rapidly and at the same time consolidating our management leadership in India and South Africa. Global expansion will take place from these geographies,” explained Dr. Vinod Vasudevan, Group CEO of Flytxt. He added that “Flytxt will release more new products over the next 6 months that will transform the mobile operator’s role in the mobile advertising ecosystem.” 

 

Flytxt’s corporate office is in Netherlands. Its operational headquarters are located in Technopark, Trivandrum. This center houses the product development and is responsible for global delivery. The center will expand over 100% over the next 9 - 12 months. The company is looking for increasing its headcount in sales, product consulting and technical support located in Delhi, Mumbai and Johannesburg. Total headcount will grow from 100 to 200 plus in this same period.
