ZTE bags CTIA’s 2011 Emerging Technology Awards

 ZTE Corporation  a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions,announced that it has received the 2011 Emerging Technology Awards from the CTIA at the International CTIA Wireless® tradeshow in Orlando.

 

 

The 2011 Emerging Technology Awards, launched and organized by CTIA, honours organizations with great contributions in different fields of the telecommunication industry.

 

“It is a great honor for ZTE to win the 2011 Emerging Technology Awards,” said Lixin Cheng, CEO of ZTE USA and President of the North America Region, ZTE. “We engaged in continuous innovation to help the operators build smarter, economical and future-oriented networks. And we will continue to bring innovative solutions to the industry. The awards are true reflection of ZTE’s core values.”

 

2010 Global CDMA Market and Prospects research note by IDC showed that as of Q2 2010, ZTE had shipped accumulative total over 270,000 base stations, and had been ranked first on global CDMA market with a global market share of 30.3 percent.
