CBI files new chargesheet against Ruias and Khaitnas

The CBI on Monday filed chargesheet against Ruias, the promoters of Essar Group and the Khaitans. They face accusation of creating Loop for getting more spectrum.  

However the CBI has not chargesheeted Former Telecom Minister A Raja,  the former Telecom Secretary Siddharth Behura and other bureaucrats

According to the agency Essar group floated Loop Telecom flouting telecom guidelines. Essar holds sizeable shares in the existing operating company Vodafone.

Essar Group’s Ravi Ruia, son Anshuman Ruia and Ruia brothers’ sister Kiran Khaitan and her husband IP Khaitan have figured in the new chargesheet.
