Comviva ropes in Arnaud Azilinon to head Francophone WECA region

Buoyed by its Africa operations and to give them a further boost Comviva has roped in Arnaud Azilinon as Head of Francophone West and Central Africa region.

 

To be based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast Arnaud in his new capacity will look after sales, regional key account management, technical account management and solution sales. He will guide the company with strategic direction and operational focus to give impetus to Comviva’s business in the region.

 

To streamline its operations in the continent Comviva is recruiting sales professionals, engineers and even freshers across the continent and bringing them over to India for extensive training at their corporate office.

 

“With his rich experience and in depth understanding of Francophone Africa, we are positive that he will successfully drive our operations. His regional insight would set the stage for success in this important geography, that contributes to our business and has nascent demand characterised by low penetration and high growth in the mobile sector”, said Manoranjan Mohapatra, CEO, Comviva.

 

“I am delighted with the opportunity to work with Comviva, an innovative and leading VAS provider in Africa and across the emerging markets. I look forward to drawing on my experience to expand Comviva’s association with Mobile Network Operators and Banks in my region.” said Arnaud Azilinon.

 

Before this Comviva, Arnaud worked as the managing director for Mac technologies (Congo Brazzaville), and led the organization across Francophone Africa. Earlier, he spent almost 10 years in various marketing and management roles as part of Atlantique Group and was mostly based in Abidjan with brief period in Johannesburg. He completed his Graduation from Paris Graduate School of Management.
