Samsung, Apple and Nokia to fight it out in the India during festival season

This festival season may be good for gadget freaks in India. There is a possibility that the three mobile phone giants, Apple, Nokia, and Samsung will fight for their pie in the Indian market.

In India, the festival season will begin from October 16. Diwali is on November 13. This is the period when all the new products are launched. People buy new products. All new models of cars are also launched in this period.

It is learnt that the three mobile giants will also fight for the market during this time.

Apple is expected to launch iPhone5, Nokia will launch Window 8 platform Lumia phones. Though there is no announcement from Samsung, market experts believe that it will launch Galaxy S III Mini during this period.

It is clear that no one wants to miss the bus.

The expected price of iPhone 5 is Rs. 45,000, 50,000 and 54, 000 for 16, 32 and 64 GB models respectively. The expected price of Nokia Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 is Rs. 29,000 and 35,000 respectively whereas there is no update on Samsung Galaxy S III Mini.

Samsung will launch its flagship model Galaxy S III Mini on October 11 in Germany.

Samsung and Apple account for the top two slots in market share. Nokia is far behind from them. Lumia is an attempt by it to catch up with the two leaders.
