Manoj Kohli to take over as Bharti Airtel’s MD
TT Correspondent |  |  31 Jan 2013

Manoj Kohli will take over as managing director of Bharti Airtel’s international operations from 1 March, according to reports. This is believed to be the part of restructuring at the top level. Currently he is heading its African operations.

Reports also suggest that Gopal Vittal, currently who will take charge of the India and South Asian business in March will be appointed joint managing director.

The company last week announced that Vittal will replace Sanjay Kapoor as CEO of Bharti’s India operations.

Kohli has served in many capacities in the company as  president and CEO. He also looked after Airtel’s mobile services in the past.
