Anritsu Corporation has launched its new MX882012C-021 LTE-Advanced FDD DL CA Measurement Software for its popular MT8820C Radio Communication Analyzer supporting the world’s first all-in-one measurement tester solution for LTE-Advanced call-processing tests.
 
The MT8820C integrates the signal generator, signal analysis and base station simulation functions required for R&D and manufacturing of mobile appliances in a compact all-in-one platform.
 
Installing the released MX882012C-021 software in the MT8820C with LTE measurement functions supports call-processing tests (communications with simulated base station) of LTE-Advanced smartphone, tablet, and data card Rx performance.
 
LTE-Advanced is the next generation mobile communications system offering mobile subscribers faster data speeds than LTE. Commercial deployment is planned in 2013 in the USA and Korea and terminal makers urgently require test equipment supporting LTE-Advanced call-processing tests to assure call quality between test handsets and base stations as they ramp-up production of LTE-Advanced terminals and data cards, etc.
 
Anritsu has announced this world-first LTE-Advanced support for its popular MT8820C tester to help bring LTE-Advanced services to market as soon as possible.
 
The MX882012C-021 LTE-Advanced FDD DL CA Measurement Software is an option for the MT8820C Radio Communication Analyzer offering an all-in-one test platform for development and manufacturing of mobile communications terminals.

Installing it in the MT8820C for LTE measurements supports RF tests using carrier aggregation. It is used to evaluate the receive performance of LTE-Advanced smartphones, tablets and terminals while calling.
