Aircel offers new data plan at less than Rs I per day to woo first time mobile internet users

Aircel, India’s leading telecom operator has offered a new data plan Pocket Internet 24 which will have the 30 days at Rs 24. The plan is aimed at wooing first time mobile internet users.

The plan will cost the user less than Rs 1 per day which the company said is quite economical. The plan allows the users get familiarized with search engines and social networking site and download applications, surf the net and stay connected with family and friends.

The company said that that the product will offer higher validity at a lower price to ensure ample time for customers to learn about and understand the use of the Internet on their mobile phones.

Murhy Chaganti, circle business head, Aircel, Chennai said that in India which is adding adding 70 million mobile internet users a yea ,but majority have never experienced it. The plan will give them this opportunity.
