LAVA launches Android, 3G enabled IRIS 405 and IRIS 455 at Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,699

Lava has added two more Android smartphones – IRIS 405 and IRIS 455-to its IRIS range of smartphones. Both the phones run on Android Jelly Bean operating system and are priced at Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,699 respectively.
Both the phones support FOTA upgrade and are 3G enabled for video calling and are powered by a 1 Ghz dual core processor with 4GB internal storage which is expandable using microSD cards.

Both come with a 5MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a front VGA camera. On the IRIS 455, the camera has face detection, panorama and HDR mode. On the IRIS 405, the camera has 8X digital zoom, image stabilization and zero shutter lag. Connectivity features such as WiFi and Bluetooth are present on both smartphones.

The company is hopeful that the these two phones will get acceptance from the students and the professionals. It said that these two devices offer best android experience without sacrificing on performance or features”.

As far as the applications are concerned the phones offer Saavn and Fusion for music buffs. Along with Hike and Facebook these two phones have Lava Zone application which provides the users with option to download songs, videos, and wallpapers directly on to the device.
