Chinese manufacturer, Gionee has launched its World's slimmest Android smartphone Elife S5.5 in India for Rs. 22,999. The smartphone will be available across India from 27 April. Gionee showcased this phone at Mobile World Congress, 2014, in Barcelona, Spain. Elife S5.5 smartphone is just 5.5 mm thick. 

It has 5 inch display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Gionee's Amigo UI running on top. It is powered by 1.7GHz true octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. It has 13-megapixel rear camera with the world's first 95 degree ultra-wide angle and 5-megapixel front camera. It has a non-removable 2,300mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage with no further expandability option via microSD card and for Connectivity options, the Elife S5.5 include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG.

                         

The Gionee Elife S5.5 will be available in Black, White, Blue, Pink, and Purple.
