Samsung launches Galaxy Core 2 smartphone in India with Android 4.4 KitKat OS for Rs 11900

Samsung Mobiles has silently launched the Galaxy Core 2 smartphone in India for Rs. 11,900. The Galaxy Core 2 is the successor to the Galaxy Core smartphone that launched in June last year for Rs. 15,690. Galaxy Core 2 is a dual-SIM device and runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
 
It sports a 4.5 inch WVGA TFT display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 768MB RAM. It also features a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card.
 
For connectivity it includes: Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and 3G. For long power back up Galaxy Core 2 comes with a 2000 mAh battery. The device measures in 130.3x68x9.8mm in height, width and depth and weighs 138 gm. It is available in Black and White colours via Samsung's official online India store.
 
The device is currently in stock on Samsung’s online store and comes with various options, such as free shipping, cash on delivery, EMI and free gift wrap.
