UTStarcom claims leadership position in Indian Broadband Equipment market

UTStarcom today announced that it has bagged honours as India’s No.1 broadband equipment vendor by CyberMedia’s VoicenData magazine.

The VoicenData research estimates that revenues of UTStarcom grew by 38 % while its market share stood at 29.5 %.

“As India’s demand for faster connectivity continues to grow, UTStarcom is committed to helping build India’s broadband infrastructure,” said Vijay Yadav, vice president and managing director of UTStarcom’s South Asia operations.  “By working with the region’s leading service providers, and India’s governmental broadband authority, this infrastructure will deliver the most advanced services to Indian consumers.”
