Govt mulls 10% listing of BSNL, TCIL stake

Telecom Secretary, Siddharth Behura said that the government plans to list 10 % stake each of BSNL and TCIL with the timeline to be decided in consultation with the finance ministry.

 

"Two of our companies BSNL and TCIL are not yet listed. We would like to list them with 10% divestment in each of them initially. But the timeline will be decided in consultation with the finance ministry," said the Secretary.

 

On TCIL offloading its stake in Bharti Hexacom, Mr. Behura said that it is currently under review.
