Tata DoCoMo launches GSM services in Mumbai & Maharashtra

Tata DoCoMo marked its GSM based mobile services launch in Mumbai and Maharashtra circles in the presence of Minister for Information Technology and Communications, Mr Gurudas Kamat.

 

“In spite of the competition, we are bullish particularly after the reception that Tata Teleservices (the Tata group’s unlisted telecom entity which holds 33 per cent stake in TTML) is getting for its GSM services in South India,” said Dr Mukund Govind Rajan, Managing Director, TTML.

 

The company is offering its now popular one second pulse pricing tariff in the circles. For users who reach STD 27,000 seconds per month, the extra STD usage will be billed at only 2 paise per second.
