TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  12 Aug 2009

Huawei Technologies launched its IP Contact Center (IPCC), Unified Communications (UC) solutions as well as Channel policies in a bid to focus more specifically towards the Indian Enterprise segment.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Derek Sun, Channel Director of Huawei India, said “India’s dynamic businesses today require technical support in order to advance competitively. Along with networking fast development, there has been a greater requirement of service over IP network. Unified Communication is highly demanded under the context of migration to IP network. Its idea and the practice play the important impetus role for all enterprises to develop the service, reduce TCO, and find the new effective operational mechanism. With the launch of our solutions, Huawei is well positioned as a holistic solutions provider for the Indian market”

Integration players such as Wipro and I-source have tied up as Huawei’s channel partners.

Huawei claims that its all-in-one box offers the most integrated contact center and UC platform in the industry and it can help enterprises as much as 50% of the space and reduce energy consumption by 40%.
