BSNL striking Unions claim total shut down in NE, Kerala & WB region

The United Forum of BSNL Unions today claimed that the ongoing strike called by its members numbering more than 2 lakh has seen complete participation in 6 North Eastern States, Assam, Kerala, West Bengal and Kolkata Telephones with BSNL offices in these regions remaining totally shut.

 

The Union claims that more employees are joining the agitation.

 

The members further said that if their demands are not met immediately they will resort to going on an indefinite strike.
