BSNL on an expansion mode in Coimbatore

BSNL plans to enhance its network in Coimbatore and Tiruppur to support additions of 1.5 lakh mobile connections. Further 3G services will also be introduced in the region.

242 new GSM base stations will be added in the region.

For broadband services, the exchange claims that the services are available on demand.  In fact the broadband network will be expanded to add 25,000 new broadband connections.
