Israeli Partner Communications to bid for Motorola-owned MIRS

Israeli mobile communications operator, Partner Communications said Monday that it has floated an offer to buy 100 percent stake in iDEN operator MIRS Communications Ltd. and its operations from Motorola Israel Ltd.

 

However, the Partner Communications in a statement said that there is no assurance of it bagging the deal as the offer is subject to a number of conditions including further due diligence as well as satisfactory resolution on detailed contract terms.

 

Partner, a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications International Ltd., offers mobile and fixed line telecommunications services in Israel, and operates mobile telecommunications services in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Indonesia.

 

All the three operators of Israel are believed to be interested in acquiring the mobile network operator.
