Chinese social networking site, Kaixin001 ties-up with Ericsson for mobile content applications development

Chinese social networking site Kaixin001which claims to be adding 200,000 new users daily and Swedish firm, Ericsson joined hands to develop innovative mobile applications for the users of the site.

The site has 50 million users on its fold.

The tie-up will enable the users to use the site from the mobile medium as well.

Ericsson will also oversee creating opportunities for Kaixin001 to operate with other social networking sites, mobile service providers and advertisement firms.

Cheng Binghao, President of Kaixin001, says: "We are very excited to be partnering with Ericsson to bring our users fun, innovative and easy-to-use mobile applications that will let them take the Kaixin001 experience wherever they are, whenever they want it. This partnership will open new revenue streams and allow us to take our leading social networking site to the next level."
