MTS ropes in Utiba to offer e-top up option to subscribers

Sistema Shyam Teleservices’ (SSTL) MTS tied up with global supplier of mobile financial transaction platforms, Utiba whereby the operator will now be able to offer electronic top-up option to its subscribers as well as to launch range of m-commerce services.

The e-top up option enables subscribers to recharge prepaid vouchers of any amount at any time of the day thereby addressing issues arising out of vouchers of fixed denominations as well as stock out situations.

Mr. Vsevolod Rozanov, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL) comments, “We are happy to partner with Utiba and we want to create a strong customer proposition for our services based on cutting edge technology and business processes.India has a large Pre-paid base and an Electronic top-up platform will play a significant role.
