MTNL matches MTS offer with half paise per sec tariff plan

MTNL on Tuesday, slashed tariffs to half paise per second for 2G as well as 3G voice calls and video calls. Intra network local  and STD calls will now be charged at the new rate under the new plan. For calls made to other network, the charges will be one paisa per second.

 

Local SMS will be charged at 25 paise per SMS and National SMS at Re.1 per SMS.

 

Both postpaid and prepaid subscribers can avail the new rates.

 

The half paise tariff structure was first introduced by new entrant MTS.
