TT Bureau |  |  01 Feb 2010

Hyderabad-based VAS solution and services player, IMImobile launched ‘DaVinci’ Social, a new service aimed at easing the access and management for users of social networking sites through the mobile medium.

IMImobile says that the new service also allows operators to integrate third party services and applications and offer such an integrated service to subscribers. In effect, operators can offer the services as a fully managed service.

Features such as access to multiple social network services, updating status information, sharing pictures, photos, video, instant messaging, cloud computing services are included in the new service.

Anu Shah, head of IMImobile Europe says, “DaVinci Social fulfills some of the most fundamental needs of consumers today; to be able to easily stay in touch with everyone they want to and protect personal contacts and valuable digital content in the event they loose or change their handset.  DaVinci Social places the operator at the heart of a consumer’s daily activities. Combined with an intuitive user experience built on IMImobile’s open technology, it is a spring-board to launch other consumer services such as music, content and advertising.”
