Etisalat and Comviva to jointly offer new VAS

Etisalat and Comviva joined hands to offer advanced value-added services (VAS) to Etisalat’s over 100 million subscribers across the globe.

Commenting on the deal, Essa al Hadda, Group CMO, Etisalat said, “We are happy to welcome Comviva as our partner in this important field. With its extensive experience of deploying solutions globally and delivering a broad range of innovative offerings, we are confident of bringing highly engaging services to our rapidly growing customer base and further driving our VAS revenues. We have been very successful last year and more than doubled our revenues from Content, Data and VAS across the Etisalat Group. With the help of Comviva we are confident to attract and retain customers and grow this important segment of our strategy even further”

Manoranjan Mohapatra, CEO, Comviva, added, “This partnership reflects both Etisalat and Comviva’s commitment to creating and deploying exciting, revenue-enhancing new services that will delight Etisalat customers and build sustainable competitive advantage in mobile markets globally.”

Deployment of the new services will start immediately and will be made available to Etisalat customers shortly, says the alliance.
