Olive launches ’Zipbook’ computing terminal embedded with Tata Photon Plus

Haier Mobile’s parent company, Olive Telecommunication on Friday launched Zipbook which is a computing device that comes embedded with Tata Photon Plus wireless data services.

The device has a  10.2” LCD screen, Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB 2.5” HDD, 3 USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, Wi fi, integrated webcam and is charged  by a three-Cell Lithium Ion battery.

Announcing the first Tata Photon Plus-enabled Olive Zipbook, Mr Sanjiv Sinha, Regional Head (East) & Chief Operating Officer of Tata Indicom’s Operations in the Kolkata Circle, said, “This is the first time that a high-speed connectivity device is embedded in the Zipbook, giving a complete mobile broadband experience to the customers. Tata Photon Plus is an immensely popular product and we hope to get a great response with this one-of-its-kind product launch.”

The device is priced at Rs 17,990.
