MTNL eyes Rs 5,250 crore revenues in new fiscal

State-run operator, MTNL is targeting revenues of Rs 5,250 crore in the fiscal 2010-2011 banking in demand for mobile and broadband services reports news agency PTI.

"MTNL has signed the MoU with Department of Telecom as per which we are projecting a revenue of Rs 5,250 crore for the current fiscal," said MTNL Chairman and Managing Director Kuldip Singh to PTI.

The operator aims to double its broadband subscriber base to 2 million in the new fiscal.
