Tulip Q4 2009-10 net at Rs.79.4 crore

Tulip Telecom reported Q4 2009-10 net profit of Rs.79.4 crore at sequential rise of 15.74%. Revenues for the quarter were at Rs.530.6 crore at a sequential rise of 5.95%.

The company attributed the growth to contribution from enterprise data services business. Some of the new clients signed include Adobe, Aditya Birla Group, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Eros International, Directorate of Information Technology, Tata AIG, Uninor and Verizon Business.

Speaking on the company’s healthy performance, Lt. Col. H.S. Bedi, Chairman & Managing Director, Tulip Telecom said, “The projects undertaken during the last eighteen months have started to yield benefits. Our healthy operational as well as financial performance delivered during the year is a testimony to the success of these initiatives.”
