 HCL Infosystems announced the deployment of Dial 100 solution for the Noida Police equipping the police force to access automated information resulting in more efficient way to take action.
The solution consists of multimedia contact centre as well as allows tracking of all PCR vans that are fitted with GPS devices. The solution also consists of Calling Line Identification (CLI) and Direct Inward Dialing (DID) to help in identification and routing. It also provides connectivity to mobile PCR vans through two-way radios/ GPRS.
A. K. Singh, SSP Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh said, “This initiative has been taken for the helping the citizens. With advanced technology, the response time of police for the call of service will be improved and more than 70 PCRs will be present for DIAL 100 service.”

The Dial 100 solution also allows citizens to avail emergency services such as hospitals, fire-stations etc.
Moreover it will help the police department in reducing the number of hoax calls. |
