ZTE to deploy dual-band commercial LTE solution for Hong Kong’s CSL
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  27 Jul 2010

Hong Kong-based operator and subsidiary of Australia’s Telstra Corp., CSL Limited has selected ZTE dual-band commercial LTE network solution as the operator plans to offer advanced services to its subscribers.

The solution is designed to work on the 1800 MHz/2600 MHz dual-band. The deal is an extension of the agreement signed between the two companies under which ZTE will provide CSL with an end-to-end LTE infrastructure solution and LTE devices.

As part of the deal, ZTE will provide CSL with a unified core network to support 2G/3G/LTE concurrently with the latest software defined radio (SDR) technology incorporated in the solution supporting the distributed multi-mode and multi-band base stations.
