TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  03 Sep 2010

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the successful implementation of a core workflow automation system for Indian government agency, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) enabling the body to speed up the pace of processing cases and complaints.

On the implantation, Vineet Mathur, Director, Central Vigilance Commission said, “The new automated workflow solution is likely to change the flow of information and the time taken in deciding vigilance cases in the Commission. It is going to be a flagship project for improving the Core Processes in government functioning in the years to come.”

Tanmoy Chakrabarty, Vice President & Head, Government ISU, TCS said, “The TCS solution will bring greater transparency, eliminate administrative bottlenecks, thus reducing the throughput time for an application to be processed and providing a secure and trustworthy environment for conducting its function. We are delighted to have worked so closely with the CVC team to complete the project less than six months after allotment.”

The system will also enable CVC to have a collaborative environment with employees across other government offices and agencies.
