3Com Corporation said today that its chief distributor, Inspira Enterprise, has brought aboard six new regional distributors (RDs), shoring up its presence to cater to 10 of the country’s biggest business centres.
Tapped in February to head its sales, marketing, distribution and service efforts in India, Inspira Enterprise appointed new distributors in the prime metropolis of Mumbai, Pune, Gujarat, Delhi, Hydrabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Cochin and Hyderabad.
These regional distributors, with superior local knowledge and in a better position to handle local dealers, resellers and system integrators (SIs), will exclusively sell 3Com products for networking, work towards opening new sales channels in regions and untapped territories, but under the guidance of Inspira, said the company.
The RDs include Netlab Solutions (Delhi), Linkworld Technologies (Mumbai), Hilink Networks (Pune), Ecaps (Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin and Hyderabad), Pardata Systems (Bangalore) and K-Two Infocom (Gujarat).
When asked about the speedy process of appointments, Prakash Jain, chairman of Inspira, said, “Quick recruitment will let 3Com ramp up immediately on the crucial task of providing local dealers, resellers and SIs with the support needed to drive sales, and on the longer term, work of brand building. Fast penetration to the regional markets also means that businesses in outlying areas can enjoy 3Com’s advanced, reliable and high value-performance networking solutions right away.”

In the coming six months, Inspira will appoint more RDs in the cities comprising of Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Indore, Raipur, Goa and Nagpur, and the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Kerela. |
