Flytxt launches new mobile advertising platform, QREDA
TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  18 Jan 2011

Flytxt, a leading provider of mobile marketing and advertising solutions, announced the launch of QREDA, an end-to-end mobile advertising platform. The platform allows all brands and advertisers to reach out to mobile subscribers by leveraging mobile operators’ subscriber data and reach while strictly honoring privacy and security. This comprehensive platform serves as a virtual marketplace for advertisers and brands, where they can select and buy mobile ad inventories, choose their target segment with the optimum level of granularity, run high impact campaigns and measure the success of campaigns across channels, all from a single interface.

QREDA unlocks the full potential of mobile advertising and delivers unprecedented value to all players in the ecosystem, including mobile operators, advertisers, brands and consumers. Through this platform, Flytxt hopes to redefine the mobile advertising value chain by extending the assets uniquely possessed by the mobile operators to provide value to advertisers and subscribers and simultaneously creating a major new revenue stream for these operators.  The platform supports flexible ad campaign models and all types of inventory.

“QREDA enables mobile operators to play a key role in advertising using the mobile channel. This will transform the mobile advertising business as we know it today and spur its growth to well over $50 billion globally by 2015.” said Dr. Vinod Vasudevan, Group CEO of Flytxt.

QREDA gives top priority to consumers’ privacy and preferences. Innovative technology allows advertising based on consumer ‘Fingerprinting’, a ground-breaking technique that defines the ‘finest possible level’ of unique subscriber insight. This takes into account different criteria based on demography, behavior, context, location psychographics and social characteristics derived from information available only with mobile operators. This helps in transforming an advertisement into a personalized brand experience, thus guaranteeing a high rate of consumer acceptance and conversions. The platform also provides extensive capabilities for mobile operators to implement communication policies to comply with strict privacy norms and regulations.

“QREDA extends the reach of brands and advertisers to all mobile subscribers in real-time, with fine-grained segmentation, increased relevance and measurable impact,” said Abhay Doshi, Senior Director of Marketing, Flytxt. “With QREDA, operators can play a significantly bigger role in mobile advertising compared to the present independent app stores and publisher-driven scenarios. And of course, operators can address virtually all the consumers and not just the top few percent,” he added.
