BSNL considers bidding for majority stake in Zamtel

PSU, BSNL is considering to submit financial bids to acquire majority stake in Zambia Telecommunications Ltd or Zamtel.

BSNL CMD, Kuldeep Goyal said that the firm is currently doing due diligence.

The second round of Zamtel’s 51 % to 75 % stake offloading process involves submitting financial bids. MTNL is also shortlisted in the first round alongwith BSNL.
