BPO player Firstsource subsidiary, Firstsource Advantage LLC which offers debt recovery services received the Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) certification for the best practices and policies employed by the firm.

The PPMS certification is accredited by the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA International).

The certification takes into consideration parameters such as quality of operations relating to client interaction and communication, error identification and corrective action, and oversight of internal procedures for documentation, data storage, results reporting and employee training, among others.

The certification adds to another certification awarded to the company for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and Statement on Auditing Standard (SAS) 70 Type II.
